I would like to commend the point Kimberly made about recording her speech to determine the tone of her voice. I feel the same way for overall spotting of habits that can affect our presentations--habits that are otherwise overlooked. I would suggest video recording your first and final practices to see the difference.

What I enjoyed about this interview was the importance Kimberly placed on practicing a speech. It is common for a new speaker to speak in front of an importance audience without much stage time. I always recommend some of the things Kimberly does as well as speaking for free as much as possible (rotary clubs, networking groups, etc).

Honing your keynote is one of the most important things you can do. ~ Garrison
